Same Camp, New Look
Rest assured past Camp Bae Day campers, Camp Bettie is the same camp you've come to love, with all the unforgettable moments and cherished traditions that have made our past events so special. Our commitment to empowering connections, building friendships, and creating lasting memories remains as strong as ever.
Why the Name Change?
Camp was born out of a desire for reconnection after the pandemic. With the support of our sisters over at Colorado Girl Gang, we transformed our annual event "Bae Day" into a weekend-long sleepaway camp so we could immerse ourselves in the spirit of inclusivity and friendship while supporting Bad Bettie Project's mission. Today, camp has evolved and we recognized that "Camp" as we call it was ready to embark on a new chapter: Camp Bettie.
"Bettie" has always embodied what we feel it means to strive to be your best self, be a total "girls girl" and actively play a role in empowering your community. Whether you resonate with the name because you've been a long time supporter of Bad Bettie Project or because you yourself feel like a "Bettie" we're happy to have you here.
About Bad Bettie Project:
Fostering friendship since 2016, Bad Bettie Project supports authentic community both online and IRL by creating avenues to friendship for more than 3,000 millennial women, non-binary folx, and those who are otherwise marginalized in our communities across the country. For years, we've been hosting events virtually and in-person that support our core pillars of personal development: financial development, mental well-being development and community development. We believe that providing the tools, resources and community young individuals need to survive is pivotal in creating a well-rounded, self-sustaining environment.
